HOA (Home Owner's Association) Information

Basics The HOA is responsible for the daily operation and long term planning on behalf of the homeowners. A board of officers is elected to represent the owners and is given authority to act and make certain decisions regarding the operation of the HOA without consulting the owners. The board of officers may choose to hire an outside organization to manage daily affairs of the HOA within certain guidelines. The board of officers authority and the operation of the HOA, including voting rights of members, is defined in the "By-Laws" of the HOA. In addition to the "By-Laws", the Declaration and Rules will define the responsibilities and limitations imposed on the members, ie. the homeowners, regarding their units.
